SCT Technology announces release of new CMA edge software to further enhance its leading asset tracking solution
SCT TECHNOLOGY ANNOUNCES RELEASE OF NEW CMA EDGE SOFTWARE TO FURTHER ENHANCE ITS LEADING ASSET TRACKING SOLUTION London, 6th June 2019 – SCT Technology, an international RFID system provider, today announced the release of CMA Nomad – a smartphone application designed to work with SCT’s CMA asset tracking solution. Designed to work on both Android and iOS powered smartphones, CMA Nomad gives field users the ability to read RFID tag barcodes as well as the GS1 Serial Shipping Container Code (SSCC) used across NATO on the standardised military shipping label. Note: Data shown on these screenshots is indicative only and does not reflect actual shipments. Reads of tags and SSCCs are uploaded from Nomad to the owning CMA server providing near real-time location updates for the associated Transport Packages and Shipments. In addition the details of the Shipment associated with the read SSCC can be downloaded to Nomad (as shown in the right hand screen shot above) to provide the user with mobile access to the critical information needed to process the shipment. The development and release of CMA Nomad reflects the strategy from SCT Technology to provide CMA users with the latest and best technology to track and manage their shipments.
